Level Limits of Lexandria
On Lexandria all characters can reach level 30, the highest level possible for mere mortals. However, characters do suffer an experience penalty depending on their race and number of classes.
Any character can dual- or multi-class. Once the choice is made it is final. (I.e. A multi-classed elven fighter/mage can not dual-class and become a priest of Thorin.)

* Includes the standard demihuman races. Any race or subrace published by TSR is also included, but any XP penalty that TSR suggests is added to the above XP Penalty. The races presented in the Complete Book of Humanoids would use this category.
** This covers any race that players or DMs create using the DMG outlines for creating races. If the DM feels the race has a distinct advantage then s/he may raise the XP penalty for playing a character of that race.
For example:
A human paladin would suffer no XP penalty.
A Dwarven fighter/priest would suffer a - 40 % XP penalty (-20% for being a demihuman and - 20% for being multi-classed with two classes)
Multi-classed characters use the XP chart of the class they have which requires the most XP to obtain level two.
